About you, our preferred intern

 

You are studying for your bachelor’s or master’s degree and are interested in what it would be like to work in Knowledge Management and are eager to combine your theoretical knowledge with some actual working experience. You would like to see what it is like to work for a company in the midst of the energy transition with over 5,000 employees worldwide spread across eight key locations, nine shore bases and our fleet of vessels.

 

You are interested in knowledge management and how to improve knowledge sharing within an organization, improving employee’s collaboration and become a learning organization. Furthermore, you are not afraid to speak and write in English and you are confident that you can communicate at all levels in an organization.

In addition, you:

 

  • Are following a bachelor or master’s degree in Business, Communication or Psychology studies or similar.
  • Need to do an internship which combines work experience with a small research topic
  • Are pragmatic, eager to learn, flexible and not afraid to speak your mind
  • Are fluent in English, another language is a plus
  • Have excellent MS Office skills and basic knowledge (or willingness to learn) on online collaborative whiteboard platforms
  • Are able to communicate on multiple levels in a friendly and professional matter

 

About the Knowledge Management internship

You will work together with our Group Knowledge Manager and have plenty of opportunities to be involved in various topics, especially related to internal Communications and implementation of the global Knowledge Management Framework. You’ll work on the following activities:

  • Support KM communications for key stakeholders and the entire organization (for example, the KM newsletter and meetings with KM practitioners)
  • Create interactive surveys
  • Active participation and facilitation in KM workshops to boost company-wide collaboration (for example: Knowledge Cafés)
  • Support the organization of the yearly Knowledge Management Meet Up
  • Prepare presentations and webinars for KM Awareness Sessions
  • Participate in meetings with Senior Business Leaders to follow up on their KM needs

 

You will practice and learn Knowledge Management techniques, especially through organizational collaboration, facilitation, change management, and employee engagement.
