Job description:

The Construction Method Engineer for Floating Offshore wind prepare the required deliverables to the Product Engineering and Industrialization team to plan construction works in adequacy with the supply chain (construction yards, assembly hub, service providers, transportation vessels, heavy lift cranes and tools) in view to :

• Participate to the elaboration of the industrialization plan (fabrication of floaters for wind farms)
• Elaborate Built Methodologies and associated planning of activities and manning, in different regions of the world
• Participate in the elaboration of the Execution Plan for the floating offshore wind EPCI projects
• Participate to the market review of potential Fabrication and Erection Yards and contribute to their assessment and qualifications
• During the execution of the Project he ensures the delivery of all documents and procedures required by the Project team for the performance of the contract for the construction and load-out of floating substructures and follow the execution of the projects in the construction and assembly sites to :
  • Provide construction feedback to engineering in order to optimize fabrication and erection of the floaters
  • Consolidate the know-how on wind project construction execution

Core competencies:

• Expertise in Construction Methods (Build Methodologies, planning of activities, Resources planning)
• Ability to analyze and simulate series production
• Good knowledge in structural welding, NDE and coating inspections
• Expertise in the construction of large tubular structures / jackets
• Potential experience in mass production (shipbuilding) and in automation

Job requirements:

• Position based in Monaco
• International Mobility with frequent travel in Europe, US, Asia
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience experience in Construction methods related functions especially in the fabrication of large tubular structures / jackets
• Certified for Lifting Plan issuance preferred
• Fluent in spoken and written English
