ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to create a safe work environment on Site, YOU ARE TO:
Provide the leadership to ensure that the HSSE plan is understood and implemented by the Supervisors assigned to his/her discipline

In order to meet Group/Project Quality requirements, YOU ARE TO:

• Provide the leadership to ensure that the Quality Plan is understood and implemented by the Supervisors/Inspectors assigned to your discipline
• Lead the site Quality verification team for your own scope

In order to to achieve pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Scope (B&C- Scopes), YOU ARE TO:

• Review the Completion database and ensure the required Pre-commissioning”B” checksheets are assigned to the respective sub system as per the marked up limits.
• Assist Resources with writing of Operational Test Procedures (OTP)
• Ensure Supervisors and Inspectors assigned to his/her discipline are familiar with SBM Construction and Completions processes and that roles and responsibilities are understood
• Monitor Commissioning team productivity and manpower assignment to ensure Commissioning schedule milestones are met
• Ensure Discipline Inspection Test Reports (ITR-B’s), Operational Test Procedures (OTP’s) and associated Punchlist are completed, approved and logged into the Completion database
• Demonstrate Operational Test Procedure (OTP) to Operations/Client and Class
• Interface with Supply Chain to ensure Vendors are mobilised on a timely basis
• Assist Supply Chain with the procurement of commissioning spares 3.9. Maintain up-to-date as-built dossier
   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Colleague Degree in a relevant discipline

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Oil and Gas (onshore and offshore) industry and proven track record in handling industrial automation projects engineering as technical lead

• Familiarity with working across engineering disciplines in an EPC environment to design and specify ICSS packages and their interfaces

• Experience in specifying and high-level design of DCS and SIS systems and related packages (instrumentation, F&G)

• Detailed knowledge of the architectures of DCS and SIS.

• Working knowledge of IEC61508/61511

• Working knowledge field instrumentation and measurement

• Working knowledge of alarm design philosophies

• Working knowledge of field instrumentation, FFB, Hart etc

• Able to organize and execute multiple tasks on time and budget
