Job description: INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

Assigned to lead SBM FPSO projects and able to perform below mentioned activities independently,

• Assist in developing Instrument Design Basis/Philosophy.
• Preparation IO list & Index.
• Preparation of Specification & Datasheets for Field Instruments and F&G detector.
• Procurement assistance for field instruments, safety & control valves, Detectors, DCS.ESD.PLC and F&G systems.
• Perform Instrument Sizing calculations using ConVal tool.
• Good knowledge on international codes & standards.
• F&G Cause and Effect Chart.
• Develop Instrument Design Basis/Philosophy.
• VDR – Other discipline packages.
• Should be an effective Team player, capable of working with Multi-National Clients and possess good communication skills.

Job requirements:

• Academic:            Instrumentation & Control engineering school or equivalent
• Exp:                     Minimum 5 years’ experience in Offshore projects – Fixed Platforms & FPSO.
• SW or tools:         Knowledge of SPI & ConVal.
