MAIN ROLE
 

As the Supply Chain Category Manager, you will be instrumental in orchestrating the country entry plan and establishing new contracts across various categories to facilitate the operation of FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) vessels in new territories. Your primary objective will involve devising and executing sourcing strategies while ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of equipment, materials, and services required for FPSO operations.
 

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies and contracting plan tailored to meet the diverse needs of FPSO operations in new countries.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define specifications and scope of work for contracts across different categories.
  • Craft comprehensive Requests for Quotation (RFQ) incorporating technical, commercial, and quality requirements
  • Collaborate with Ops readiness and Proposals to have price benchmarks and estimate that support Win pricing models.
  • Evaluate and select suitable suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors in partnership with category Managers.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships, including compiling vendor lists and conducting necessary audits.
  • Manage RFQ issuance, bid evaluation, and negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Prepare purchase recommendations and negotiate agreements, including General Terms and Conditions and service level agreements.
  • Facilitate the signing and deployment of contracts to support FPSO operations in new territories.

 

EXPERIENCE
 

  • Engineering degree 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in developing and negotiating contracts, including framework agreements.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to FPSO operations.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of categories, including but not limited to equipment, materials, and services essential for offshore operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of procurement regulations and legislation in relevant countries.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, including offshore locations, as needed.
