Sales and Marketing Lead

Purpose
- The Sales & Marketing Lead acts to support the Sales & Marketing team from opportunities identification until winning a tender, as well as to acts as business representative in any internal projects to improve the department processes.
Responsibilities
- In order to successfully position the Company for future opportunities, promoting SBM as a trusted and competitive partner to the Clients, you are to:
- Develop a good understanding of SBM’s market, environment, business drivers, needs and targets to ensure that all policies, processes and instruments are competitive.
- Maintain strong awareness and understanding of Market positioning, in order to spot opportunities key accounts and other (non-key) accounts
- Identify and report potential projects and market trends using internal (Client contacts, Events attendance, etc) and external sources (midia, consultants reports, client and competitors RI reports, etc)
- Support as and when required the Business Development Managers and Business Development Directors in their activities such as, but not limited to: preparing presentations, collect data, create and update Capture Plansand Country Entry Plans, providing technical or commercial benchmarks, extracting relevant data from CRM or external sources
- Act as delegate to the Business Development Managers or Business Development Directors when required
- The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:
- Feedback com business and other relevant stakeholders
- In order to win a tender, you are to:
- Support as and when required the Commercial Managers and Sales Directors in their activities such as, but not limited to: preparing presentations, collect data, create and update Capture Plans, providing technical or commercial benchmarks, extracting relevant data from CRM or external sources
- Act as delegate to the Business Development Managers or Business Development Directors when required
- The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:
- Feedback com business and other relevant stakeholders
- Success rate (ratio of wins versus losses)
- In order to ensure alignment with CBO team and estimulate a data-driven culture in the Company, you are to:
- Cross check CRM data with internal and external sources in order to find possible gaps to be regularly catch-up with internal stakeholders (Business Development, Commercial and Sales)
- Issue and present a Quarterly Market Outlook report to CBO team
- Lead and act as business representative in any internal projects to data usage
- The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:
- Feedback com business and other relevant stakeholders
- Lack of gaps between CRM reports and market reality
Education
- Engineering, Business Administration, Economics
Experience
- 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry
