Job description: (team, role in the team, tasks, expectations…)

• Responsible for the execution of mapping and database input required to set up the solution.
• Identify all degradation mechanisms for each element or equipment and corrosion loops definition.
• Review and assess the bidder technical proposal.
• Report progress on the deploy activities.
• Support to identify data availability for future developments and deployments.
• Support for the  issue of functional specification with the support of the business representative.
• Support the execution of the User Acceptance Test with support of business.
• Provide timely and accurate input to other disciplines in support of their design requirements in meeting deadlines
• Utilize your technical expertise to develop safe and quality solutions in support of project and discipline requirements
• Identify areas requiring more detailed instructions and clarify understanding/expectation as necessary with Discipline Lead; ensure no surprises
• Complete tasks in compliance with applicable industry standards/regulations and work procedures
• Proactively interface with Solution Lead and Discipline Lead and peers for resolving issues, sharing information and progress.
• Produce consistent/organized documents in a well-structured format to clearly convey required information

Job requirements:

Academic

• Degree in Materials, Corrosion or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in Materials and Corrosion in Oil & Gas Industry, FPSO experience is an added advantage
• Availability for traveling internationally including offshore.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in Materials and Corrosion Engineering projects
• Experience in Risk Based Assessments and Inspections (API 580 – Risk Based Inspection & API 571 Materials) for various types of Piping and Static Equipment such as Separators, Deaerator Columns and Exchangers (Shell and Tubes, Plate Heat Exchangers) is an added advantage.
• Work experience in Piping and Static Equipment Operations
• Involved in vendor document review / approval for various types of Materials in Detail Engineering projects is an added advantage
• Work experience in Digital Projects for Corrosion Monitoring activities is an added advantage      

Behaviours &inter-personal skills - Key points: Soft skills

• Good Knowledge in international codes such as API for the Risk Based Inspection Guidelines is an added advantage
• MS Office
• Interest in Project management skills for digital development/product ownership
• Good knowledge in the following software is an added advantage
