IT Solutions Development Team Lead

Purpose

• As IT Solutions Development  Team Lead you lead the development of digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals. You manage development team, and oversee timelines and budgets ensuring successful and effictive development of solutions.

Responsibilities

• You lead team of developers and participate in the development of applications that align with business priorities, quality expectations, and delivery commitments.
• You define and apply development standards, platform governance, and technical guidelines to improve consistency, compliance, and maintainability.
• You steer development planning, priorities, timelines, and risks to support predictable and effective solution development.
• You translate business requirements into clear technical direction, scope, and delivery outcomes for the development team.
• You guide developers through coaching, technical support, and decision-making to strengthen team capability and solution quality.
• You promote agile practices and continuous improvement to increase productivity, transparency, and responsiveness.
• You review code quality, solution design, and development practices to improve reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• You oversee technical support for developed solutions to ensure service continuity and user satisfaction.

Education

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Solutions Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP) are highly recommended.
• Knowledge of low-code development technologies such as Power Platform, or pro-code programming such as C#, Python, Go and web development frameworks like Angular and React are expected.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven experience leading and managing software development projects, including requirements gathering, backlog management, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in low-code (Power Platform), pro code (C#, Python, Go and web development frameworks, such as Angular and React), and cloud computing platforms, mainly Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience in Agile methodologies such as Agile Scrum, or Kanban.
• Demonstrated ability to architect and design scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions, leveraging best practices, design patterns, and emerging technologies.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor software developers to achieve performance goals and objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
