RESPONSIBILITIES
- In charge to coordinate the Spare Part activities related to the dedicated project between the different stakeholders of the Project, Supply Chain, Vendors and Operation Readiness team and SBM Offshore India
- Responsible for in-time completion of the spares parts functionality and availability data in the CMMS.
- Responsible for coordinating the project Operational and Capital spares selection and procurement process and complete in-time delivery of the spare parts to their final destination.
- Responsible for ensuring that the documents for the project operational and capital spares are selected and available electronically in SBM Document Management System.
- Ensure activities are completed with consistency and in line with both Client and project requirements while complying with planning, quality, and budget constraints
MAIN TASKS
- Set up and keep up to date the Project Spares List including priorities, budget and forecasts figures.
- Identify and review revisions of project equipment purchase orders requiring spares and create for each work-package in the PSL an initial forecast, priority and budget code with input from the Maintenance Strategy Engineer.
- Expedite, Review and QA of vendor equipment documentation and spares recommendations (SPILs)
- Create analysis sheets; liaise with Spares Engineers for in time completion of the spares and document selection.
- Update PSL and carry out uploads of spare parts to purchase in the project procurement system (NADIA)
- Send procurement instructions to the Project Buyer.
- Upload data into the CMMS (Nadia dummy POs, Bill of Materials, Stock Items)
- Liaise with Logistics Expediter, Yard, Shorebase, Storekeeper to ensure in time and complete delivery.
- Review and approve ECDR spare parts documentation.
- Liaise with Package Managers for invoices approval upon receipt in the SBM’s forwarders warehouses of the goods purchased.
- Develop periodic detailed and high level status/progress reports covering analysis, procurement, delivery, priority and cost forecast.
- Continuous improvement of Spares selection and procurement processes
- Support the Maintenance Strategy Engineer with operational and capital spares studies
- Provide Instructions and Guidance to the Storekeepers and verify their work when activities start in the Yard and in the CMMS.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years experience of Materials/Inventory Control and Logistics in the offshore oil or marine industry.
- HNC level qualification in an associated business or Engineering discipline. Computer literate especially in EXCEL and VBA
- Fluent in spoken and written English
