Job Description:

 

Responsible for acting under various roles – Package Engineer, Discipline Lead Engineer, Technical Expert, Interface Engineer

Responsible for package engineering activities on Rotating equipment and packages:

  • Prepare and issuance of technical specifications
  • Prepare and issuance of equipment list
  • Vendor selection process (interface with supply chain, review offers and issue TBE, participate to bid clarification meetings…)
  • PO execution: package engineer (accountable for compliance with specs)

Responsible for overall technical aspects of the package and involvement for the complete cycle – Pre-PO, Post PO, FAT, Safety studies, Engineering support to yard for commissioning.

Responsible for multi-disciplinary interface related to the package.

Responsible for development of company standards and compliance assurance.

Engage with peers to promote knowledge sharing and acts as a consultant and mentor to less experienced engineers to ensure knowledge transfer, product memory, and application of best practices.

Hands-on experience working with various rotating equipment and packages – Process pumps, Process compressors, utility pumps, process and utility packages used in offshore oil and gas. (Ex. Centrifugal pumps for hydrocarbon service, centrifugal gas compressors, positive displacement pumps, power generation package, chemical injection system, dehydration units, dryer package, inert gas generator etc.)

Experience in the complete lifecycle of the Project and Rotating Equipment.

Experience in performing technical studies and providing suitable recommendations for complex technical issues to meet project and discipline deliverables in greenfield and brownfield applications.

In-depth knowledge of rotating machinery design and selection.

In-depth knowledge of dynamics of machinery.

In-depth knowledge of multi-disciplinary interface aspects.

In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards.

 

Job requirements:

  • Academic :           Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical
  • Exp:                     Minimum 20 years’ experience in Rotating equipment and packages in oil and gas

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Offshore oil and gas

Minimum 2 FPSO project experience

Minimum 2 Brownfield project experience

  • SW or tools:         PV Elite/ Compress/ AutoCAD/ Navisworks 3D
