Senior IT Solutions Developer

Purpose

• As Senior IT Solutions Developer you provide expertise and lead all aspects of design, development and optimization of complex applications to meet organizational needs and drive technical improvements.

Responsibilities

• You design and develop complex solution components and integrations that meet business requirements, scalability expectations, and industry best practices.
• You provide technical expertise and review designs and code produced by other developers to strengthen consistency, maintainability, security, and compliance.
• You mentor junior developers on solution design, coding standards, and problem solving to improve team capability and development quality.
• You align business needs with technical solutions by collaborating with stakeholders and translating priorities into practical development outcomes.
• You identify and drive technical improvements that enhance solution scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• You anticipate and address technical risks, dependencies, and vulnerabilities to protect solution quality and business continuity.
• You document key designs, decisions, and relevant information to support knowledge sharing and sustainable solution maintenance.
• You contribute to development standards, reusable components, and technical best practices to improve productivity and consistency.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field is required.
• A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Solutions Developer, Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert are highly recommended.
• Strong Knowledge of low-code development technologies such as Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio, or pro-code programming such as C#, Python, Go and web development frameworks like Angular and React are essential.
• knowledge of Azure, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage, is expected.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Azure DevOps, is required.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is necessary for effective communication.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex software projects from design to deployment.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks, such as C#, Python, Go, Angular, React, Power Apps and Copilot Studio, or other relevant technology stack.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and experience in implementing best practices to optimize team productivity and project outcomes.
• Strong expertise in software architecture and design principles, with the ability to architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a collaborative and agile work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and IT operations, to ensure successful delivery of software projects.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to ensure software stability and reliability.
