Job Description:
Responsible for package engineering activities on Rotating equipment and packages:
- Prepare and issuance of technical specifications
- Prepare and issuance of equipment list
- Vendor selection process (interface with supply chain, review offers and issue TBE, participate to bid clarification meetings…)
- PO execution: package engineer (accountable for compliance with specs)
Responsible for overall technical aspects of the package and involvement for the complete cycle – Pre-PO, Post PO, FAT, Safety studies, Engineering support to yard for commissioning.
Responsible for multi-disciplinary interface related to the package.
Hands-on experience working with various rotating equipment and packages – Process pumps, Process compressors, utility pumps, process and utility packages used in offshore oil and gas. (Ex. Centrifugal pumps for hydrocarbon service, centrifugal gas compressors, positive displacement pumps and compressors, power generation package, chemical injection system, dehydration units, dryer package, inert gas generator, HPU etc.)
Good knowledge of maintenance aspects of various rotating machinery.
Good knowledge of layout and facility aspects.
Good knowledge of multi-disciplinary interface aspects.
Good knowledge of international codes and standards.
Job Requirements:
- Academic: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical
- Exp: Minimum 8 years’ experience in Rotating equipment and packages in oil and gas
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Offshore oil and gas
Minimum 1 FPSO experience is preferred
- SW or tools: PV Elite/ Compress/ AutoCAD/ Navisworks 3D
