  1. Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS

 

  • Able to follow the steps required to book safety and technical training courses for SBM IPS Offshore employees according to the approved training matrix and company requirements.
  • Manage and regularly update the rotation planning of the Region 2 Operations instructors through the crewing tool
  • Create and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the department (training and Fleet Instructors)
  • Collect, analyze, and report training data in order to find training gaps and formulate corresponding actions for the fleet within the Region 2
  • Focus as well on Region 2 units competencies gap analysis and work on closing the gap with the OIM and Operations Manager
  • Organize training and refresher courses for instructors, and all the logistics involved, in compliance with Company standards
  • Liaise with Subcontractors and other relevant Training departments to ensure the correct and regular flow of information regarding crew and certification records and the addition to Training database
  • Manage the onboarding process to the Region 2 instructors in liaison with the HR department

 

Job requirements:

Specific skills / expertise / product:

 

  • Graduate + 3 years further education or equivalent in other countries;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Computer literate, including Word, PowerPoint & Excel advanced level;
  • Minimum 5 years as Training Analyst in shipping or Oil & Gas organization
  • Minimum of crewing experience in managing offshore personnel (O&G or shipping sector)
