The Construction Manager is responsible for the delivery of the Construction/Completion scope of work in compliance with the project HSSE, Quality and schedule requirements as defined in the construction execution plan. You provide the necessary Construction expertise to support the Project Construction Manager to make key strategic decisions.


1. In order to create a safe work environment on Site, you are to:

1.1. Provide the leadership to ensure that the HSSE plan is understood and implemented by all Site project personnel assigned to your role The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:  Group and Project HSSE targets are met

2. In order to meet Group/Project Quality requirements, you are to:

2.1. Provide the leadership to ensure that the Quality Plan is understood and implemented by all Site Construction personnel to your role

2.2. Lead the site Quality verification team for your own scope The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:  Group and Project targets are met  No violation of the Group Quality Golden Rules

3. In order that the site construction team are able to successfully manage the delivery of the construction phase, you are to:

3.1. Ensure execution is compliant with the project yard contract

3.2. Liaise with relevant stakeholders for the mobilization of the resources assigned to his role

3.3. Escalate construction/completions issues to Project Management team when deemed necessary The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:  Achievement of project construction milestones, safety and quality objectives

4. In order that the Project Manager is able to make well-informed strategic decisions, you are to:

4.1. Ensure reporting concerning construction/completions activities relevant to his scope of work is accurate and timely submitted to the Project Delivery Manager

4.2. Ensure engineering and procurement changes are reviewed and assessed by the relevant Construction disciplines and advise the Project Delivery Manager

4.3. Support the Project Delivery Manager during all Commercial meetings with the yard The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:  The successful resolution of construction/completions schedule risks  Accurate reporting of the level of completion
