MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT -  NEW PROJECT 

This is a unique opportunity for Maintenance Superintendents to be actively involved in the
decisions that will shape the new SBM FPSOs and be a key stakeholder in the rolling out of
new projects within the offshore fleet.


 

To be considered for this role Candidates must be able to :  
 

  • Provide technical, operational and maintainability input during the construction and completion phase of the project.
  • Assist with effective system completion with the objective of obtaining an asset meeting SBM minimum standards, which is operable and maintainable whilst economical to build and to operate.
  • Raise maintainability, handling and operability issues to the project team during the construction and completion phase of a project, with due respect for life cycle costing, and advise the OIM or Operability Lead of any identified concerns.
     

Technically you must be able to;

  • Witness FATs as required
  • Review and effective contribution to test plans / OTPs

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have previous experience as Maintenance Superintendent in the Construction Yard for New Build or Conversion of FPSO
  • Held Maintenance Superintendent position onboard FPSO’s for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Hold STCW Reg II/2 Chief Engineer Certificate

  • Good sense of ownership in the decision making process as 'Internal Customer'
