Reports To: Production Supervisor
Background: A Production Operator must operate plant process and utility systems effectively and safely by following procedures at all times and by meeting O&M Contractor Operations Management System and local regulatory compliance in all aspects of work. The Production Operator will, in addition, help with routine maintenance by performing isolations and reinstatement of plant and equipment.

Authority: The Production Operator is authorised to operate and assist with the maintenance of production/process and utility systems and equipment.
Subordinates: Subcontractors, vendors, and visitors.

Accountable for: Typical Responsibilities and Activities
1) Process Utility Operations
1 Start up, Operate, Monitor and Shut Down process and utility systems.
2 Monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc) within operating requirements.
3 Maintain discharge water quality within current O&M Contractor or local guidelines.
4 Monitor and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, Fire and Gas Systems.
5 Ensure accurate and timely production reporting and logging is submitted daily or as required by company.
6 Prove export oil meters.

2) Marine/Safety
1 Work to O&M Contractor Management System policies and procedures in particular Isolation Standards, and PTW.
2 Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner.
3 Report all discharges, leaks, spills, injuries, and incidents, immediately.
4 Ensure vendor and subcontract personnel within responsibility understand and comply with current environmental regulations.

3) Maintenance
1 Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as required.
2 Operate under PTW system, Toolbox talk and Risk Assessment system.
3 Advise maintenance personnel on hazards of plant and equipment.
4 Maintain clear and precise communications during maintenance operations.

Pre-hire Qualifications and Experience:
 Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ Hydrocarbon Processing Level 2 or similar qualification level fromvcountry of origin.
 2 Years experience of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
 Knowledge of ESD F&G and DCS systems.
 Good understanding of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment
 Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.
