OFFSHORE CRANE AND HYDRAULIC TECHNICIAN

RESPONSIBILITIES (=) MAIN TASKS (+)

• Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of offshore cranes and hydraulic systems
• Adhere to the Company Safety policy and to all relevant local legislation.
• Inspect, test and diagnosis hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems and components of cranes and hydraulic systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair of offshore cranes and hydraulic systems including lubrication adjustment and replacement of parts as necessary
• Coordinate major interventions with OEMs as required
• Create, Manage and Report activities under CMMS
• Create and Review Preventive Procedure and various work instructions as needed
• Identify and Suggest areas of improvements of existing maintenance and organization set up
• Check, manage, recommend spare parts and specific tools stock management ensure that necessary and critical parts are available, follow up with the procurement department accordingly
• Ensure that all equipment is in compliance with the safety regulations and industry standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Conduct training for crane operators daily/weekly maintenance checks and other personnel on proper use and maintenance of cranes and hydraulic systems

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Technical Diploma preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in Hydraulic Cranes Maintenance. Offshore environment would be preferable
• Good knowledge and understanding of Crane and Lifting International Standards
• Good knowledge of CMM systems such as AMOS / IFS and ePTW
• Strong planning & organizational skills
