Purpose
- You are responsible for supporting the implementation, and monitoring of health, safety, security, and environmental within operational activities.
- You ensure that all activies performed offshore comply with HSSE regulations and standards, contributing to a safe and sustainable work environment.
Responsibilities
- You implement and maintain HSSE programs, standards and policies.
- You conduct or participate in detailed risk assessments and hazard analyses, Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- You support or lead investigations into HSSE incidents and near-misses, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
- You monitor compliance with HSSE regulations and standards in operational activities, conducting audits and inspections as necessary.
- You support initiatives aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainability in engineering practices.
- You develop and maintain HSSE documentation, including risk assessments, safety plans, and regulatory compliance reports.
- You assist in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans, ensuring that engineering teams are prepared for potential incidents.
- You identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSSE practices, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of engineering and operational processes.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an HSSE engineering role, preferably within the offshore oil and gas industry or a similarly regulated sector.
