Purpose
- As Fleet Training Team Lead you overseeing the development and implementation of training programs for offshore personnel to ensure their readiness, competency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- You design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training programs for offshore personnel to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to perform their roles safely, efficiently, and effectively in offshore environments.
- You ensure that training programs align with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- You develop and implement competency assessment frameworks to evaluate the proficiency and performance of offshore personnel.
- You ensure that all logistical arrangements are in place to facilitate seamless training delivery.
- You maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and performance evaluations for offshore personnel.
- You stay abreast of relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices governing offshore training requirements and ensure that training programs and materials comply with regulatory requirements from agencies such as the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), and other regulatory bodies.
- You continuously monitor and review training processes and practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement by collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the overall effectiveness of the training function.
- You promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among offshore personnel through training initiatives, safety campaigns, and communication efforts.
Education
- BAC or BAC +2 or equivalent in Human resources or Administration
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a training department
