Purpose
- As Senior Telecommunication Engineer, you are responsible for designing and delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable engineering solutions that support the project goals and contribute to the organization’s strategic objectives and long-term success.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for preparing telecommunication engineering deliverables (drawings, datasheets, calculations, specifications) in accordance with the project design requirements.
- You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications and client requirements in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
- You are responsible for proactively planning and completing activities and deliverables within the agreed time frame and budget as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
- You ensure that your scope of work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and SBMâs internal requirements.
- You ensure that the applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the impact of change within and across project system boundaries.
- You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties in accordance with contractual requirements and SBMâs internal requirements.
- You may be assigned as a package engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacture of the package.
- You actively contribute to the discipline lessons learned, feedback from vendors, subcontractors and third partiesâ execution and close out reviews.
- You shall identify technical changes, assess package level impacts, and support formal change management and deviation processes.
- You are responsible for providing technical support to construction, commissioning, and offshore teams, troubleshooting site issues, responding to technical queries, and supporting engineering close out and accurate as-built documentation.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or related field from recognized university/college.
