Purpose
- As Competency Assurance Standard Lead, you are responsible for the timely implementation and management of the Competence Assurance Standard Operating Unit during the construction phase up until first oil.
Responsibilities
- You ensure that the assigned personnel possess the required behaviours, knowledge and skills during the Operations Readiness phase to execute their offshore roles effectively, contributing to the safe and efficient operations of the FPSO.
- You lever digital tools and methodologies to execute, monitor and implement the Project Competence Assessment Program.
- You oversee the Region 3 Fleet Instructors while they are assigned to your unit
- You oversee in collaboration with the Line Manager the Fleet Training Analyst while assigned to your unit
- You prepare weekly reports to monitor the progress, ensuring milestone achievements are reached before sail away and before first oil
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (offshore core crew role). Master's degree is a plus.
- STCW COC as Chief Engineer or Master Mariner may serve as alternative
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of offshore experience (with some experience as instructor/assessor).
- Proven track record of implementing or executing competency assessment programs, preferably in a digitalized environment.
- Familiarity with competency frameworks, industry standards, and regulations.
