Purpose
- As a Fabric Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of all fabric structures within the offshore and onshore facilities. This role ensures the integrity and longevity of these structures to maintain safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- You plan, coordinate, and execute fabric maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct regular condition assessments of structures and report findings.
- You develop maintenance strategies and schedules to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- You liaise with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance activities.
- You ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- You manage and supervise contractors and maintenance personnel, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- You maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare detailed reports.
- You execute the Passive Fire Protection (PFP) inspections and the Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) repair within the fleet when required.
- You manage, follow up and close out the corrective actions of the anomalies generated from the PFP inspections and the CUI repair and other fabric maintenance scope relate topics.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Certificate/Diploma from a recognised university in Engineering or related field
- Certifications in fabric maintenance or related fields are preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 yearsâ experience in fabric maintenance within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.
- Experience in managing maintenance projects and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
