Purpose
- As Industrial Hygienist you support HSSE on occupational programs, managing the exposure to biological, chemical and physical hazardous.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for managing and building the risk management program.
- You manage the FIT testing and hearing conservation programs across all units.
- You provide support for incident investigations.
- You develop procedures and actively monitor biological, chemical, and physical agents in the workplace.
- You manage and conduct ergonomic surveys across all units (where applicable), including manual handling assessments.
- You contribute to and implement the company’s heat stress work instructions.
- You develop and implement risk reduction projects based on hazardous resources in the workplace.
- You manage the Asbestos Survey.
- You conduct quarterly hygiene inspections (where applicable).
- You manage Benzene assessments and monitoring.
- You develop and perform training related to occupational risks.
- You manage the action tracker for occupational health programs.
- You manage the radioprotection program according to company work instructions and International Atomic Energy Agency standards.
- You develop a risk inventory that feeds into the risk management program.
Education
- Engineering degree with Post graduated in Safety Engineering.
- Desirable post graduated in Occupational Hygiene.
- Valid license to practice in country of Operations.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety Engineering;
- Experience in oil and gas.
