Main activities and responsibilities


Support operational units in the maintenance and monitoring of rotating equipment in order to ensure their availability reliability in accordance with the contractual requirements of each unit.

Coordinate the preparation and execution of the maintenance plan for large rotating equipment (centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, steam turbines)

Determine the repair specification for faulty equipment

Coordinate the preparation of preventive and corrective maintenance activities for rotating equipment by:
Follow the process of purchasing parts and services
Ensure the mobilization of service providers in accordance with the operational plan of the units
Agree on intervention plans with the team on board the units
Monitor the preparation and execution of activities  

Lead or participate in root cause analyzes related to rotating equipment failures, either internally or with OEM participation

Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) for rotating machinery.

Monitor availability, reliability and uptime of key rotating equipment.

Ensure that safety, maintenance and service alerts and bulletins (internal or external) are known and 

implemented according to the needs of the company.

Report equipment anomalies that are indicated internally or by OEMs and register them in the CMMS according to the Management System

Elaborate technical specifications for the rectification of reported anomalies

Guarantees and supports rectification of anomalies

Provide adequate and accurate information for the preparation of the unit's budget.



HNC/ HND/ Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.


3 Years of service or experience in a similar field. Oil and Gas experience preferred.


Technical skills

Practical knowledge of laser alignment and basic knowledge of reverse alignment (clocks – Dial gauges).
Knowledge of combustion engines, compressors, turbines and pumps.
Able to read and understand P&ID.
Drive an RCA and complete a comprehensive report on damaged equipment.
Have training in oil and vibration analysis.
