Talent and Learning Specialist

Purpose
- As a (local) Talent and learning specialist you are responsible for implementing Talent Management and Learning strategies and activities that support the company's objectives and employee growth. You focus on enhancing and retaining functional expertise, leadership excellence and accelerating business performance and sustainable growth. You are a Talent and Learning advisor to the local HR community and business stakeholders. You are lead/supervised by the Senior Talent and Learning specialist.
Responsibilities
- You stimulate the inclusive growth mindset of all SBM’ers.
- You operationally support the rollout of new initiatives and improvements to existing processes as directed.
- You give guidance and coaching to Local HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on talent identification, learning strategies, and succession planning.
- You assist in nurturing talent pipelines to meet current and future business needs.
- You contribute to the definition and implementation of the local or regional learning plan aligned with business priorities.
- You conduct regular assessments to identify training needs and skill gaps within the location/region.
- You execute the recommend appropriate learning interventions to address identified gaps
- You might also be responsible for ensuring that all learning programs are organized and executed effectively and efficiently in accordance with the annual learning plan issued by the business
- You work with local/ regional stakeholders to ensure all talent and learning initiatives support and align with business goals and strategic objectives.
- You manage the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) for the region in partnership with the HR learning officer.
- You generate regular reports on training activities, participation rates, and outcomes as advised by the Sr TandL Specialist
- You build and maintain relationships with HR colleagues, business leaders, and external partners to promote a culture of talent management and learning in the location/region.
- You foster and enable DandI through the TandL initiatives and programs.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree: Typically in Human Resources (development) , Psychology or a related field.
Experience
- Experience in Learning and Development field. Demonstrated experience.
