REPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Dismantle and Reassemble Instrumentation Equipment
  • Monitor and Maintain the Condition of Instrumentation Equipment
  • Diagnose Faults in Instrumentation Equipment
  • Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures
  • Emergency Response Role
  • Provide any additional duties as required by the OIM/Unit Spt. and/or HOD to maintain safe and efficient running of the Unit.

 

MAIN TASK:

 

  • An Instrument Technician is responsible for ensuring allotted instrumentation work is carried out safely and efficiently and that his supervisor is made aware of all activities according to procedure, especially where safety is an issue. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Must be an EG National.
  • Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Instrument Engineering or local equivalent
  • 3 yrs. experience desired with offshore experience preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
  • Good experience of Permit to Work, Instrument/Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
  • COMP ex E’X’ course preferred.
  • Medically fit to offshore international standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.
