PRODUCT ASSURANCE MANAGER

 

As Product Assurance Manager you will be part of the Operations Readiness Team and report to the Project Control Manager for the Region.

 

Work is worldwide on rotation (8/2) and you will travel globally on a regular basis to meet the needs of the project.

 

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITES

 

  • Set Up Product Assurance activities together with ECOM administrator at project start for all project phases from WIN to START UP with support of Project Control team
  • Issue PAPO plan and PAPO report for each project in NEO
  • Lead the implementation of PAPO (Product Assurance Pre-Operations) across running projects
  • Act as PAPO Champion with R3 Project team. Work across various located together with R3 project team to make sure PAPO activities are carried out properly and in a timely manner
  • Escalate PA gaps to relevant stakeholders when appropriate
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product and ways-of-working together with CPAL (Central Product Assurance Lead)
  • Organize bi-weekly/weekly progress meetings with key project stakeholders to monitor PAPO activities
  • Perform/support Product Assurance investigations (as assigned)
  • Provide eCOM support to Project-dedicated OR personnel
  • Feed back project findings to Central Product Assurance Lead (CPAL) to improve continuously the PAPO process and tool
  • Consolidate, analyse, report data coming from PAPO activities via PAPO monthly progress report

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Education:

- Engineering or University degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Project Management, Supply Chain Management or a more specialized technical discipline (e.g Construction, Marine, Maintenance).

 

Experience:

- At least 10 years experience in a relevant industry sector, ideally the Offshore Oil & Gas or Energy sector.

- 2 years minimum experience in Oil and Gas business.

- Relevant experience in (or at least exposure to) Assurance and/or Investigation activities

- Offshore/Shorebase experience and/or Shipyard experience.

 

Specific skills / expertise / product:

- Management system / Business Process development and/or Management skills

- Technical knowledge of FPSO components

- Good knowledge in complex project execution

-  Use of ECOM

- Extensive use of Microsoft Excel and Pack office package/Database in general

- Comfortable with data management (e.g databases, data analysis, dashboarding) and generally willing to adopt digital  solutions

- Inspection, Commissioning and/or handover experience would be an advantage
