ROLE PURPOSE

As a Cost Estimator, you are accountable to deliver in due time, the most accurate cost estimate for a defined scope.
You will ensure to give the best cost view for a given system, which will allow the most accurate and efficient financial tracking during the project execution phase.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

•Collect and analyze cost and associated technical data on previous projects for both gaining knowledge and having benchmarking reference
•Maintain up-to-date databases
•Acquire good knowledge on products and project execution
•Master and apply estimating techniques as well as governance
•Identify or support (simple) tools development for improving quality of estimates, benchmarking and reporting
•Deliver estimates in timely manner with best accuracy (depending conditions and inputs provided)
•Provide quality analysis and reporting to Commercial and Management team
•Ensure transparency and traceability of costs and associated assumptions                                                                                                                                                                                                                        • Liaise, understand and challenge project team and various disciplines (engineering, supply chain, construction...)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree in Engineering or Finance

Ideally minimum of 3 years experience in Industry (Oil & Gas is a plus)
Proficient in Excel
Cost Estimating or cost engineer/controller experience is a plus
