Job description:

+ Deliver in due time, the most accurate cost estimates (ballpark, budget and firm) on a defined scope for Renewables Products/Services.

+ Participate in the development of internal cost estimate tools (Benchmarks, Norms…)

+ Ensure that at all times confidentiality of the information produced and exchanged is maintained.

+ During the bid and up to the estimate being produced:

-   Perform benchmarks for each firm offer against a built cost.

-   Continuously collect and analyse all technical and execution information from all departments of the company.

-   Be aware of critical path planning and execution methods which may impact on cost estimating.

-   Produce detailed cost estimates, and associated report.

-   Strive to find ways to improve the accuracy of the estimates and reduce risks.

-   Present clearly, accurately and concisely the cost estimates to internal team review meetings as required.

+ Analyse feedback from projects via forecast data access to improve future estimates.

+ Ensure that all cost estimation data, files and back-up information is filed as per Departmental procedures and maintain cost estimate back up files.

+ Keep abreast of technological, market, political, financial, execution and economic developments in the renewables and offshore industries.


Job requirements:

  • From Bachelor to Master degree (technical or business related)

  • Fluent in English

  • Good technical knowledge on the renewable products or strong ability to understand technical subjects

  • Good knowledge of Excel (functions, pivot tables, macro is a +)

  • Previous experience in Estimation/Cost control/Cost management is a +
