RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS

As a Finance System Analyst, your primary mission is to ensure the seamless operation of critical Finance systems. You will drive process improvement, manage stakeholder relationships, and champion innovation to contribute to the ongoing success and evolution of the Finance organization.

Infrastructure Continuity

  • System Stability & Functionality: Assist in maintaining the stability, security, and functionality of financial systems (e.g., ERP, accounting platforms, reporting tools). Ensure systems are optimized for smooth financial transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management processes.
  • Incident Resolution: Quickly resolve system issues to minimize downtime, working closely with IT support teams to troubleshoot and restore functionality.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data across all systems.

Process Improvement

  • Efficiency Optimization: Support the development and implementation of technical frameworks, processes, and solutions aimed at increasing efficiency within the Finance function.
  • Process Automation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process automation, and increasing operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaboration with IT & Project Management: Work closely with IT, project management, and change management teams to facilitate the smooth implementation of system upgrades, changes, and enhancements.
  • Cross-Department Communication: Facilitate the liaison between Finance and other departments, ensuring alignment of business needs and system requirements.
  • Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from various stakeholders to inform system development and enhancements.

Innovation Advocacy

  • Driving Technological Advancements: Promote innovative solutions within the department by identifying new solutions or methodologies that can enhance process efficiency.
  • Idea Generation & Problem-Solving: Encourage creative thinking across the team and support the development of innovative solutions to address emerging challenges or opportunities.

  • System Testing & Implementation: Coordinate the testing and implementation of new system features and modules, ensuring that updates meet business needs without compromising system integrity.
  • User Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users. Assist in troubleshooting user issues related to system functionality.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all finance systems comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and internal governance standards.

Performance Metrics & Reporting

  • System Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly monitor the performance of financial systems and generate reports on system usage, issues, and improvements.
  • KPI Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to system efficiency, user satisfaction, and process improvement, contributing to the ongoing assessment of Finance systems effectiveness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree (University or "Haute Ecole Spécialisée" (HES)) in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees (such as Master’s in Finance or relevant certifications) are a plus.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a system role, preferably related to a Finance system.
  • Some understanding of the relevant Finance discipline (e.g. Treasury, Accounting, Consolidation)
  • Some experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and workflows.
  • Some familiarity with IT project management and change management principles.
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of innovation practices and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ability to drive strategic decision-making and foster creative thinking.
  • Knowledge of the relevant Finance system(s) or able to learn very fast
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerBI, Ecosys a must.
