RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS 

Based on strong analytical skills, organization, experience, collaboration and integrity, you will:

  • Support business controllers by harmonizing the ways of working between the different COO pillars
  • Participate in the standardization of COO financial processes (excluding cost control processes but still assess the impacts on the other financial processes).
  • Monitor and consolidate financial data from the pillars over the COO perimeter
  • Perform & coordinate the ICoFR campaign over COO perimeter
  • Perform specific ad-hoc request by the management

Work Methodologies

  • Harmonize the ways of working between the different COO pillars and ensure that the current best practices of each pillar are replicated to the others.
  • Develop standard work methodologies (new reports, controls, processes…) and monitor the adoption of these new standards.

Processes

  • Contribute to the optimization, standardization & efficiency of Internal control processes
  • Review and analyze the processes from an end-to-end perspective to identify potential risk.

Business Control

  • Ensure that the proper control framework is in place over the financials of COO.
  • Develop standardized reporting to consolidate the COO pillar that will provide a clear view to the Financial Director for decision making.
  • Work closely with business controllers to identify potential ways of improvement.

Internal Control COO

  • Being the leader of ICOFR (Internal Control Over Financial Reporting) processes (testing and matrix) of Business Control & Advisory organization for Turnkey and Operations
  • Coordinate/manage with group Internal audit for Business Control & Advisory the Internal Control framework for Financial Reporting (ICoFR) propose update/new controls where needed and ensure consistency of control environment
  • Coordinate external auditors’ requests by being the key intermediate between the finance COO perimeter and external auditors.
  • Perform testing campaign of existing controls on a quarterly basis
  • Active participation in preparing workshops and providing guidance in the implementation of the framework of the Finance Internal Control where needed
  • Expand the Internal Control framework and act as business partners to identify key business risks and develop mitigation controls through process mapping and assessment
  • Actively contribute to the implementation of ICOFR framework for new ERP tool
  • Handle various ad-hoc requests related to risk assessment/management

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  •  A relevant university degree (e.g. Finance or Economics)
  • At least 8 years of professional work experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical & communication skills
  • Provide insights that support decision-making and drive business growth
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Able to manage and control complex financial structures
  • An organized mindset where accuracy and accountability are your main skills 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and independent work ethic 
  • Pragmatic and flexible approach 
  • Affinity with accounting fundamentals and constructions projects
  •  Strong knowledge or learning appetite in tools such as Excel, Power BI, IFS, …
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal), other foreign language (French) is a plus
  • Flexibility to travel is required
