Global Gas System Team Lead

Purpose
- As the Global Gas System Lead, you ensure the efficiency, safety, and profitability of our oil production systems. You drive continuous improvement and innovation, making our fleet more sustainable and effective. You provide clear visbility on the Gas System Performance.
Responsibilities
- You understand and own the KPIs and surveillance requirements for high-performing Gas systems.
- You act as the primary contact for external stakeholders including technology partners, supply chain, and maintenance teams.
- You oversee continuous improvement of system designs for both existing and new builds to boost safety, sustainability, and profitability.
- You contribute to the development and execution of the Smart Operation Production Hub Roadmap, utilizing advanced monitoring and predictive technologies.
- You define governance structures and operational strategies for the systems you manage.
- You provide essential technical support during the WIN, EXECUTE, START-UP, and OPERATE phases.
- You assist in developing and updating 3-year plans and departmental budgets.
- You help create and sustain a production system community with regional teams.
- You set performance baselines, monitor improvements, and create comprehensive dashboards to track key metrics and initiatives.
- You drive initiatives to enhance system performance focusing on safety, sustainability, and efficiency.
- You contribute to developing or updating governance frameworks to improve performance.
- You foster a learning culture within your department and the wider community.
- You cultivate strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
- You collaborate with the Surveillance Team Hub Lead to identify and develop new Surveillance solutionss and working methods.
- You participate in HAZOP and HAZID processes as required.
- You advocate for systems engineering thinking and collaborate with other technical departments.
- You ensure that OEM health care contracts and digital services (Remote Monitoring) are defined and operational before start-up.
- You contribute to auditing processes to ensure we are in control of our assets.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering or Rotating Equipment Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum of 12 years in the Oil and Gas industry.
- At least 6 years of operational experience related to the gas systems you will manage.
- Required field and FPSO experience.
- Proven expertise in engineering, commissioning, and operational activities.
