ROLE PURPOSE
As Project Manager, you are assigned overall responsibility for multiple small-scale projects (about 50) within Integrity disciplines (Naval, Mooring, Piping and Pressure Vessels, Fabric Maintenance, Corrosion, Ex, and Topside Structure). You are responsible for delivering these projects according to plan and in alignment with both SBM and client requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You lead the team by inspiring others to achieve the project goals as planned.
- You define and maintain the project organization, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
- You ensure the team has the right balance of skills and expertise required to deliver the project.
- You manage communication and schedule/budget/forecast reporting across all internal project members and external stakeholders.
- You foster teamwork and cooperation within the project and with stakeholders.
- You provide the leadership direction required to successfully deliver the project.
- You develop and maintain a macro-plan with the Discipline Leads of Integrity, ensuring clear responsibilities for technical content.
- You communicate the project objectives and targets to all stakeholders.
- You act as the primary focal point for the Global Integrity and Inspection Manager for these projects.
- You organize dedicated progress meetings on behalf of the Integrity Discipline Leads for specific projects and streams.
- You control and manage the project budget, including SBM man-hours, third-party services, and relevant subcontracts.
- You interface with all other stakeholders and budget approvers, following instructions from the Global Integrity and Inspection Manager, to consolidate the 3-Year-Plan and make forecasts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Master degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, naval, piping or marine preferred.
- 20 years experience in technical management maintenance, engineering or maintenance operation within the oil and gas industry. 10 years experinec in SBM is reccomended.
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience in multiple budget and planning control.
- Proven experience remotely managing multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge and drive for digitalization
- Strong communication, motivation and facilitation skills
- Shall show strong synthesis skill, and good proactivity to retrieve information when working outside of his technical expertise
- Experience offshore is a plus
- Experience in FPSO turn-key projects is a plus
- Willing to travel internationally
- Fluent in English
