Purpose
- You play a strategic role in supporting financial and operational decision-making processes by providing accurate and timely reports. Your contributions are essential to the preparation and analysis of management, board, and financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and process optimization. You are responsible for providing key figures for the company's annual report and managing a team to assist in these tasks.
Responsibilities
- You lead a team responsible for delivering the following reporting tasks:
- Contribute to the preparation of the monthly corporate Management Operating Report (MOR).
- Assist with the quarterly reporting process to the Board of Management, ensuring comprehensive and reliable data.
- Support the preparation and reconciliation of the 3-year budget plan.
- Collaborate with the financial reporting team on specific financial items, including covenants, cash flows, backlog, and M &A activities.
- Participate in the development of the annual report.
- Consolidate reporting packages from Operating Units and prepare comprehensive consolidated analyses for the Group.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Regional Monthly Reports (MRR) and assist with compiling consolidated analyses for Operations. Analyze interim and quarterly financial statements and support the reconciliation process between management and financial reporting.
- Conduct analyses related to covenants, cash flows, and M &A activities.
- Develop, maintain and optimize reporting procedures and controls.
- Prepare for external audits regarding operational performance figures in the annual reports, such as uptimes, number of offloads, and cumulative fleet performance.
- Provide specifications for the format of daily reports and electronic daily reports as needed.
- Ensure daily reports are completed accurately, obtaining necessary information from the Offshore crew and OIMs.
- Collaborate with the digital team to manage the digitalization of reporting processes.
- Assist operational directors in defining their yearly KPIs for MOR, MRR, and MURs (Monthly Unit Reports).
- Ensure timely receipt of unit monthly reports, with offshore management crew, with other regional center and headquarter material experts.
- Ensure monthly regional reports are well prepared and necessary people are participating; that performance reviews and pre-MOR reviews are conducted with the operational leadership team.
Education
- Master’s Degree in Science, Finance, or Graduate Management/Business School.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas (Offshore) industry, with at least 3 years in a management role or equivalent.
