This Position:   

• Reports to: Proposal & Operability Manager
• Supervision of: Operability Lead Engineer and Graduate Engineer
• Liaise with: SBM project team at large, Commercial Managers, O&M Proposal Lead and Cost Estimator, Fleet HR, HSSE RC, shorebases, Yard Team, subcontractor, suppliers, Class and Flag.
• Role Profile: Operations Manager

RESPONSABILITIES

• Overall coordination of Operations feedback and support to Tendering department on commercial and estimating inputs.
• For new prospects, contribute to the O&M commercial strategy, brief and seek feedback from relevant Operations stakeholders.
• Responsible for Operations costs and resources inputs in pre-Sales/pre-FEED/FEED CTRs.
• For a specific proposal or project, responsible for the delivery of the O&M execution deliverables and market enquiries, for the delivery of the most cost-effective O&M execution solution in line with the Operations strategy.
• Accountable for the O&M technical and execution deliverables required for the offer.
• Responsible to identify Risk and Opportunities related to the O&M proposal,
• Support to Operations Commercial Manager for Proposals relevant to Operations Fleet.
• Ensure Operations commercial proposals are processed in compliance with GEMS.
• Prepare Capture plans and organize Go/No-Go and TMS meetings for Operations Fleet.
• Responsible for Operations Proposals processes and instructions and their continuous improvement
• Responsible to launch and report on Annual Client Satisfaction Survey for Operations Fleet.
• Deputize for Proposals & Operability Manager when required

MAIN MISSION

• Lead the Operations activities needed for FPSO PL O&M tender phase or Operations Fleet proposals (Contract extensions, major brownfields…), and take a Commercial role when required
• Review and validate O&M proposal cost estimate,
• Lead the Operations Team (Operability Lead, Spare’s coordinator, supply chain…) and focus the team on Winning,
• Define an optimized and cost-effective operations execution strategy,
• Manage interfaces with other product lines and Group functions
• Manage team of Operability Lead Engineers and Graduate Engineers
• Assign team members them to relevant projects and international assignments
• Hire as required based on workload provided by Proposal & Operability Manager
• Support Lesson Learn team with Operational/Execution Lesson Learn

Job requirements

School/studies/degree:

• Marine Qualification (Master or Chief Engineer) or a University Degree in a relevant subject.
• Minimum 10 years with an Offshore Contracting Company or energy, 5 at least in the FSO/FPSO sector.
• High Level of Safety Awareness and good economic and commercial sense and experience
