Introduction                                                                           

Contribution to the development of standard tools to improve the offshore work on the mechanical components on FPSO.

Job description                                                                                     

The trainee will work first on the design with CATIA V6 under 3DX to design the components, then validation of the tools using finite element calculations, ABAQUS preferably but ANSYS as well, reporting of the calculation results.

Your Role:                                                                                                     

The trainee will discover both the work of a designer working on the conception and of the engineer who is validating the design in calculations. Manufacturing approach will be also part of the job as this is key during the design process.

What it will bring to you:                                           

Design skills on CATIA, FEA skills with ABAQUS or ANSYS, oil and gas knowledge in particular on turret systems, english environment, team work, creativity
