Purpose
- As Operations Manager you make all the decisions to guarantee the operations delivery whilst creating superior value for the stakeholders: Client, Partners and the Company, You oversee and manage all shorebase activities to ensure efficient and safe operations and work closely with other departments to optimize resources and support the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- You oversee and manage all shorebase operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- You coordinate with offshore teams to provide necessary support, including logistics, supplies, and personnel.
- You develop and implement operational procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and safety.
- You ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- You manage and optimize the supply chain, including inventory control, procurement, and distribution.
- You lead and develop the shorebase team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- You monitor and manage the shorebase budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
- You maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including offshore teams, management, and external partners.
- You troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to mitigate disruptions.
- You oversee maintenance and repair activities for shorebase facilities and equipment.
- You conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards.
- You stay current on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with standards
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience in managing shorebase or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
