HR Department Manager

Purpose
- The HR Department Manager is the single point of trusted contact at a defined scope (country or region), partnering with and advising the respective leadership team on all Human Resources related matters, in compliance with local regulations and company's goals, to ensure business continuity and growth and reinforce a culture of performance in your remit. He/she is the local gate keeper ("guardian of the temple") to ensure local/regional internal consistency.
- At Country level, you lead the local HR team and partnering with local operational stakeholders and the Country General Manager.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the HR processes policies and systems in close collaboration with your local HR team, the Global HR Business and HR expertise network
- You are responsible for high quality delivery in all employee life cycle matters: organizational design, workforce planning, learning and development, performance, reward, pay-role, talent management and employee engagement that will lead to the company's growth.
- You are accountable for legal compliance with local regulation, employment/labor laws and legal collective and individual cases with regards to transactional activities and disciplinary actions
- You ensure high qualitative relationships with local authorities, unions/social partners in the geographical area/scope
- You are responsible to monitor and to contribute to continuous improvements of HR related processes and systems
- You initiate and contribute to local internal transformation initiatives, ensuring changes’ adoption across your location.
- You are accountable for managing and developing your team in line with adequate skills and competencies needed to deliver added value
- You are responsible for guarantying high data quality for your geographical scope and use the data to monitor HR activity’s impact on your population performance and growth and to support the decision making process
- You are accountable for the performance of your team, including resources allocation, budget, roadmap, and integrity of team’s deliverables
- You act as coach to managers to increase team and individual performance
- You interact with the Global HRBP and HR expertise network to ensure alignment on HR strategies, processes and system and to feedback for continuous improvement
- Region HRM is responsible for all of the responsibilities listed above through the management of the Country HRM.
Education
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or a Master's in Human Resource Management can be advantageous.
Experience
- 10+ years of HR experience, with a leadership track record. Additionally, excellent skills in communication, conflict resolution, and knowledge of local labor laws are important for success in this role.
