RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to improve facility uptime and reliability we are implementing a program of abnormal behaviour setting and detection on the operating data that is available onshore through the satellite connection with offshore. Implementation is on all offshore processing systems like oil production, gas compression and processing, produced water treatment, seawater treatment and injection, utilities etc. We are looking for an enthusiastic process engineer with affinity for operational data analysis and smart tools to support us with the successful implementation of this program.
MAIN TASKS
Including but not limited to:
- Developing and supporting the implementation of a roadmap for the overall abnormal behaviours detections programs for all regional assets;
- Evaluate historical operating data to define optimized abnormal behaviours detections settings;
- Aid in deploying new digital products and ensure proper usage;
- Serve as a point of contact for the maintenance of process simulators;
- Serve as an interface with the units for any digital tools related topics (deployment & usage) and escalate any issues if necessary;
- Assist with facilitating proper planning of activities related to deploying digital tools; liaison with training groups;
- Assist with developing operational intelligence and fleet wide optimizations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master graduate with >5 years’ experience, preferable experience on FPSO operations or Operations support in general and affinity with tools to make smart use of operating data (Abnormal behaviour detection etc);
- Good interpersonal communication;
- Ability to work well in teams and on;
- Proactive, critical thinker.
