Purpose

  • As a BI Reporting Lead, you will oversee the design, development, and delivery of business intelligence reports and dashboards, ensuring they meet organizational needs and drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements, translating them into actionable insights and comprehensive dashboards.
  • Design and manage the BI reporting framework, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinate with data engineering teams to ensure the integration of diverse data sources, optimizing ETL processes for seamless data flow.
  • Mentor and guide a team of BI analysts, providing technical direction, fostering skill development, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex BI reporting issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Maintain and update documentation for all BI reporting processes and standards, promoting best practices across the organization.
  • Work closely with IT and data governance teams to ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in BI reporting, exploring new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance reporting capabilities and business value.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Tableau Certification are preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools, and data warehousing concepts is essential.
  • A Master's degree in business intelligence, data science, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
