Role Purpose

As a Business Controller - IT, you will be key in the control and monitoring of the costs incurred by the IT ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to interact with key stakeholders and contribute to the implementation of processes and systems, to ensure the costs are appropriately and timely tracked and that the foundations for the cost optimization program are built, enabling an informed decision making. This role is an opportunity to create, transform and support the business in their strategic decision making.

Responsibilities & Main Tasks

• IT costs monitoring (Azure cloud costs, licenses, ERP, etc.):

• Understand the structure of the IT costs and their main drivers;
• Allocate and back-charge the costs to the users / business;
• Track cost improvement and propose recommendations accordingly;
• Consolidate data consumption forecasts with Enterprise Architects.

• Digital initiatives portfolio budget tracking and execution monitoring;
• Review the quality of the data input in PowerPPM, our digital initiative tracking tool;
• Support the Information Technology & Services Control Tower by:

• Preparing monthly Reporting deliverables;
• Consolidating the value creation KPIs tracked by our Digital Solution leaders;
• Participating in the cost optimization program by providing relevant information for decision making.

• Actively participating in the yearly budget and the quarterly closings cycles (reforecast and bridges with actuals);
• Build relationships with stakeholders across various levels of SBM and provide information for decision-making in a timely manner;
• Contribute to the standardization and automation of current procedures;
• Participate in other ad hoc projects/initiatives;
• Finops Center of excellence initiative;

Role Requirements

• University Degree in Economics, Business school or equivalent finance degree;
• 3-5 years + experience in a related and international environment;
• Analytical skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptability and problem-solving
• Organizational and procedural skills
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to handle data in an efficient way;
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
