ROLE PURPOSE
As a Business Data Analyst in Supply Chain, your primary responsibility is to support Supply Chain Management providing actionable insights, maintaining dashboards, and continuously enhancing the efficiency of our supply chain processes.
You will play a key role in analyzing existing processes, identifying gaps, maintaining dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) working collaboratively with local leadership to implement improvements. Your focus will be on spotting inefficiencies and potential areas for improvement, contributing directly to the optimization of day-to-day operations and the overall success of our supply chain function.
You also play a pivotal role analyzing Supplier’s Performance, identifying low-performing vendors, supporting improvement action plans, investigating non-conformities, and engaging with internal clients to evaluate vendor effectiveness. Your insights and actions will contribute directly to elevate the quality of service and safety provided by our vendors, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
ROLE CONTRIBUTION
Data Analysis and Maintenance:
1. Collect, analyze, and maintain data related to the supply chain, ensuring accuracy and completeness;
2. Regularly update and enhance existing dashboards to provide real-time insights into operational performance;
3. Respond promptly to data requests from supervisory teams, offering support in interpreting and utilizing data effectively.
The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:
• High data accuracy rates and completeness, minimizing errors and improving decision-making reliability;
• Improved real-time insights and enhanced visualization of operational performance;
• Decrease in response time, ensuring timely support for decision-making.
KPI Development and Monitoring:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with organizational objectives;
2. Establish benchmarks and regularly monitor KPIs, providing real-time updates to highlight areas of success or concern;
3. Work towards continuous improvement by recommending adjustments to KPIs based on evolving business needs.
The measure of your effectiveness in this will be:
• Consistent achievement of KPI targets and early identification of areas requiring attention;
• Adaptation of KPIs in response to evolving business needs, resulting in improved relevance and alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Data Science, Engineering or a related field;
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment;
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Familiarity with Data Engineering, Azure Synapse Analytics is a plus;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
