Position Overview:

The Continuous Improvement Specialist (HR Operations) will play a pivotal role in supporting multidisciplinary teams within our organization to enhance operational processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on HR operations. The successful candidate will utilize Lean principles and methodologies to identify process inefficiencies, develop improvement strategies, and drive sustainable improvements across various HR functions.

Reporting directly to the Performance Management Innovation and Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating various projects related to but not limited to process harmonization and transformation, financial analysis, process automation, knowledge sharing management, continuous improvement, and process automation within CBSC scope.

Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to achieve strategic objectives.
 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Lean principles and methodologies to identify process inefficiencies within HR operations and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Train and mentor teams on Lean techniques to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the HR department.
  • Collaborate with teams across various business functions to understand their HR processes and challenges.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement Lean methodologies and ensure sustainable improvements in HR operations.
  • Analyze performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement within HR operations.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and measure the impact of implemented improvements in HR processes.
  • Lead and facilitate improvement projects within HR operations, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and outcomes related to HR operations improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of continuous improvement initiatives within the HR department.
  • Engage with HR teams to address concerns and promote a positive and collaborative culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, HR, or related field.
  • Lean Certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt) – must have
  • Proven experience in implementing Lean methodologies in a GBS or similar environment, with a focus on HR operations.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration within the HR department.
  • Experience with HR technology platforms, particularly SuccessFactors, business analytics, and overall HR operations as eg. payroll, international mobility, contingent workforce, and workforce planning, is highly desirable.
