ROLE & RESPONSABILITIES
The CSRD implementation manager oversees the effective delivery of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD)
program within SBM. He/She ensure compliance with new regulation, awareness within the organization and build up and execute a strategic roadmap to CSRD and CSDDD.
You are responsible for overseeing and managing your expertise area and your team for the global organization.
As CSRD implementation manager you will:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for CSRD implementation.
- Lead CSRD program workstreams, focusing on policy, disclosures, and value chain engagement.
- Identify gaps between CSRD and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) requirements; develop action plans in collaboration with business partners.
Project and Process Management
- Monitor project milestones to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including sustainability, technology, data, product, commercial, and communications departments.
- Oversee the end-to-end annual reporting process, ensuring CSRD compliance and timely delivery.
- Participate in the implementation of Sustainability/CSRD tools, supporting digital transformation.
- Focus on continuous process improvements to enhance the way of working.
Data and Risk Management
- Develop initiatives for efficient data collection and ensure successful delivery of accurate data.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with CSRD program implementation.
- Maintain and improve internal control processes with support from internal teams.
Team Management
- Manage, coordinate, and supervise the CSRD team’s activities and performance.
- Share knowledge, train, and coach the organization on CSRD requirements with support from technical teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including executive leadership, auditors, and external parties.
- Foster collaboration across diverse viewpoints in complex environments.
- Participate to the implementation of Sustainability / CSRD reporting tool
Annual report
- Actively participate to the coordination and organization of Annual report process.
- Review and improve the annual process report.
- Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency of Annual report for your dedicated sections.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Master’s degree, preferably with a completed RA (or equivalent qualification).
- Strong background in finance and annual reporting.
- Fluency in English.
Experience:
- 10+ years in relevant fields, including financial reporting and CSRD reporting expertise.
- Proven experience in corporate annual reporting.
- Demonstrated project management skills, particularly in finance-related projects.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience in diverse and complex environments.
- Proficiency in setting up deadline-driven processes.
