RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS
- Responsible for the sourcing and contracting strategy of the services related to Naval and Marine activities for the operation fleet;
- Responsible for procuring equipment, materials and services in accordance with the specifications provided, at the best possible price and at the required time;
- Establish with asset integrity and Operations counterparts specifications and scope of work for contracts;
- Prepare the Requests for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with the PIRs. The RFQs shall include all technical, commercial and quality requirements;
- Source, coordinate qualification and select suitable suppliers, manufacturers and vendors;
- Compile approved vendor lists and perform vendor audits as required;
- Issue the RFQs to the selected suppliers;
- Expedite and obtain suitable quotations and to co-ordinate technical clarifications and communications during bidding;
- Negotiate with suppliers and obtain the best price for goods and services;
- Prepare the purchase recommendations;
- Negotiate General Terms and Conditions and service level agreements with selected vendors. Submit to signature and deploy Frame Agreements for the category.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Specific skills / expertise / product:
• Engineering Degree;
• At least 5 years of experience FPSO Operations offshore or experience in chartering maritime and diving services or experience in Asset integrity for Marine vessels;
• Proven experience in negotiation of framework agreements;
• Knowledge regulatory services for Naval and Marine activities of FPSO;
• Familiar with the structural repairs and inspections services for offshore industry;
• Familiar with water inspections and repair;
• Familiar with BIMCO contracting and vessel chartering rules and regulations;
• Familiar with purchasing regulations and legislation in the country of operation;
• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• Ability to travel internationally including offshore, flexible/adaptable;
• Problem solver and ability to foresee supplier related issues in advance;
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
