Purpose

  • As a Product Manager, you are responsible for the strategic planning and execution of our digital products throughout their lifecycle. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the development / sales & marketing, and execution teams and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Product Strategy and Vision:
  • O Define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
  • O Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns business objectives and market needs.
  • 2. Business and Market Research:
  • O Liaise with the users and the sales & marketing team to identify customer needs and market trends.
  • O Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements. Develop strategies to differentiate our products from competitors.
  • 3. Product Development:
  • O Work closely with the Product Development team to define product specifications and ensure timely delivery.
  • O Oversee the product development process from concept to launch. In this context, grow a community of Product Owners each responsible for their scope.
  • 4. Stakeholders Collaboration:
  • O Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product-related matters.
  • O Work with the Sales Manager to align product offerings with market demands and sales strategies, and interface with the Customer Success Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of the product.
  • O Secure alignment with the Technical Manager to ensure the product is built on a competitive and solid technical framework.
  • O Product Service Framing: Frame implementation of the Digital Product within the organization (People, Work Process & Tools).
  • 5. Budget and Resource Management:
  • O Manage the product budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • O Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • 6. Performance Monitoring:
  • O Monitor product performance and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • O Analyze product metrics and KPIs to inform decision-making.

Education

  • Master of Science degree

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of experience and possibly 5 years in product management, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.
  • Technical Skills: product lifecycle management, data analysis, project management, competitive analysis, digital technology trends, proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Fluent in English.
