JOB PURPOSE

You manage the Assets Integrity hazardous area equipment. You develop Strategy and Governance procedures for shore bases taking into account best practices, regulatory requirements and engineering design. You manage adherence to GEMS processes by implementing verification plan. You develop Continuous Improvement processes and systems including the proactive approach. You are the OTA (Operation Technical Authority) for operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS

• You develop and implement KPI proposals and associated tracking and ensure adequate reporting to senior management.
• You propose technical solutions for local and fleet-wide issues, and follow-up on technical risks.
• You support independent audits and ensure compliance with Class issues, local, and Flag regulations.
• You gather and analyze data from the fleet for continuous improvement.
• You collaborate with vendors to integrate innovative solutions.
• You develop and maintain the Global Enterprise Management Systems (GEMS) procedures and processes.
• You develop, plan, and monitor the discipline 3 year-plan budget and contribute to SBM Proposals.
• You revise the Ex register before implementation in Ex management sofware on new FPSO units
• You represent SBM Operations in strategic and tactical meetings to align with business objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably qualified to at least HNC (Higher National Certificate) / HND (Higher National Diploma), or NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) Level 3 or recognised equivalent. in Electrical Engineering.
• CompEx (Ex01-04) and/or IECEx CoPC (Ex 001, 003, 007, 008) minimum.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience preferred, with 5 years Oil&Gas experience required.
• 5 years proven supervisory experience with prior Senior Authorized position preferable
• Good practical knowledge of PTW (Permit to Work), Electrical Isolation Standards
• Very good knowledge of Risk Assessment procedures, RBI approaches and Management.
• Experience with electronic Ex inspection software systems set-up, upgrades and improvement is required.
