RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS

 

As HR BUSINESS PARTNER - OFFSHORE, you will be responsible for supporting SBM's OFFSHORE POPULATION in different locations. You are the single point of trusted contact for a given remit at country level, partnering with and advising both Managers and Employees on Human Resources related matters.

 

You are responsible for implementing HR processes and policies at scope level, in line with business strategy and objectives, to accelerate business performance and sustainable growth.

 

  • Responsible for implementing HR related processes, policies and systems, in close collaboration with the HR network, with a good understanding of business objectives, cost intelligence and employee competency fit now and in the future.
  • Act as an advisor for managers and employees to increase organizational, team and individual performance.
  • Responsible for building and managing the flow of talent in your location scope to meet current and future business needs.
  • Guarantee high data quality for your local remit and use the data to monitor HR activity’s impact on the local performance and growth and to support the decision-making process.
  • Contribute to internal transformation initiatives, ensuring changes’ adoption across local remit.
  • Monitor and execute strategic workforce plan: resource optimization (right skills at the right place at the right moment) and development actions in line with nationalization plans in place.
  • Advise and liaise with local HRBPs regarding employee life cycle and development processes.
  • Manage a direct report responsible for supporting the offshore population with HR administration tasks.  

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Specific skills / expertise / product: 

 

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on HRBP roles or HR advisor positions.
  • Experience in managing and advising multiple stakeholders in a multinational environment.
  • Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Experience in supporting and facilitating change and HR development initiatives.

  • Ability to engage with people, address concerning topics and manage crucial conversations.
  • Adaptability and capability to drive change and effectively support fast-paced environments.
  • Good communication skills, with a focus on effective listening and empathic understanding.

 

Job Specific Requirements:

 

  • Languages: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Traveling: Availability to frequently travel to SBM's Offshore Units and respective shore bases.
