The Compensation & Benefits Officer  is responsible for administering all compensation and benefits transactional matters; liaises with external and internal stakeholders in that area and is responsible for HR reporting in that and related areas.

The post incumbent acts as a back-up for preparing and submitting all variables for the preparation of the payroll for the SBM entities based in Portugal.

 

RESPONSIBILITES & MAIN TASKS

  • Act as focal point for all absence registration and reporting;
  • Act as focal point for pension administration and reporting;
  • Act as focal point for insurance administration and reporting;
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly provisions;
  • Request payroll and C&B related purchase orders;
  • Monitor payment of related invoices;
  • Maintains relationship with both internal and external stakeholders in this area;
  • Actively engage in process developments in the C&B area;
  • Prepare HeadCount reporting;
  • Timely deal with related service tickets;
  • Liaise with counterparts globally;
  • Support payroll colleagues;
  • Stay up to date on any labour or fiscal legislative changes and pro-actively use this information;

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Proven knowledge on compensation and benefits processes;
  • Good level in English;
  • Good level in Excel;
  • Good knowledge of Portuguese labor and tax law;
  • Team player, flexible, service oriented;
  • Analytical minded.
