OBJECTIVES

The Global HR Operational Excellence Director will manage the the HR Operational Excellence Department within the Corporate and Business Solutions Center .

He/She provides strategic leadership and innovative solutions to optimize Human Resources technologies, data-based decision-making, analytics, HR Payroll and Administrative service delivery.

The position is part of both (i) the Enterprise optimization leadership Team and (ii) the Global HR Leadership Team, and reports operationally to the Managing Director of Enterprise Optimization and functionally to the Group HR Director.

This position will bring value to the organization through inventive and influential thought leadership, effective process and organizational design.

This position requires collaboration with multiple senior stakeholders from HR, Finances, Purchasing and Technology divisions.

This job requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of HR functions and best practices.

 

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Leading and directing various HR teams (80+ People) to deliver efficient HR Business services related to Employee life cycle (Hire to Retire) in leveraging of HR technologies and data analytics. This includes:
    • Execute a comprehensive HR service to the organization for all types of staff by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
    • Ensure the execution of the related administrative tasks for regular Employees, Expatriates and Contingent workforce, while ensuring compliance with the HR policies and business rules
    • Ensure the execution of the Payroll and the local benefits payments for most of SBM countries.
    • Follow the Company data governance process  for HR systems/platforms.
  • Translate business needs into process improvement and technology enablement with associated change management implications. This includes:
    • Evolve from traditional HR employee experience to a dynamic, data-driven, personalized experience.
    • Identify improvement areas across people, process, technology, and systems. Prioritize, plan, and implement enhancements and solutions while effectively collaborating to influence adoption.
    •  Define, propose and implement new HR data-enabled strategies and capabilities.
    • Implement end-to-end process improvement, scalability, and automation to support operational excellence.
  • Drive change management efforts needed to improve operational excellence including adoption of new systems, programs, and process changes.
  • Develop a high-performing team by increasing the high-potential employee mix, ensuring solid succession planning, and maintaining long-term organizational strategic designs.
  • Continuously develop relationships with key partners in IT, Finance, HR , Supply Chain and Business Functions.
  • Make certain people services-related information being fed into the various enterprise financial/information technology systems is accurate and in compliance with management guidelines and applicable regulatory agencies.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, ideally in Global Business Services type of organization, with a Technology or Systems focus.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Ability to work collegially across functions and levels with a demonstrated sense of urgency.
  • Flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment to work with others in a professional and effective manner.
  • Strong understanding of HR Processes, models, and infrastructure.
  • Strong leadership to manage 80+ people located in several countries (Europe, South America and Asia)
  • Strong experience in HR Technology (HRIS, ATS, LMS, etc.) and application in a global, complex business environment. SAP SuccessFactors is required.
  • Change management skills to drive adoption and usage of SAP and other HR Technology tools and processes..
  • Ability to understand objectives, roadblocks, and organizational needs and translate to effective HR System efficiencies and enhancements.
  • Ability to extrapolate data into meaningful, digestible reporting and actionable dashboards for various leadership levels.
  • Must excel at analyzing complex problems, issues, and data to provide innovative human resources solutions.
  • Must convey a strong sense of direction and have the ability to motivate others to perform at their highest level, demonstrating high levels of accountability in completing assignments.
